What do you get when you mix a surfboard, the beach, sunset and 2 steamy models…. A BADASS content day in Destin, Florida that’s what!
For two hours, photographers from all over the Panhandle came together and created magic on a quiet and secluded part of Destin beach!
I had this vision for a sunset surfboard shoot with a fun loving couple for a while so I was so excited to see this come together, and the outcome was better than I could have imagined!
The colors, the vibe, the AWESOME attendees and the models who were down for anything just made this such a perfect session.
We started the shoot at the entrance to the beach, getting some fun and playful shots of the couple heading down to the water. This spot on Destin beach was the perfect location with all the props you could need and the most stunning background! From the boats sailing by and the jetty of rocks, to the disused lifeguard tower and the clear calm water. I couldn’t have made it any better if I tried.
As the sun set and the light faded, the vibe changed and we were able to get some fun silhouette shots creating a moody and dark aesthetic.
I have to give a special mention to Innerlight Surfshops for providing the surfboard and a massive shoutout to our awesome models Keeley, and Hunter! I couldn’t have found more perfect models for this shoot, with both of them avid surfers and Keeley working at the coffee shop attached to Innerlight in Gulf Breeze!
Flexing my creativity is truly my passion, planning and executing these shoots truly sets my soul on fire and I can’t wait for you to see the up and coming shoots I have planned! They are only getting better and better!!
I see my photography life as a complete life altering decision. I shot my first wedding in Cancun, Mexico and have since shot weddings in four different states. From traveling between the gulf coast all the way back to the midwest, I can't imagine what it would be like to not capture milestones along the way.
